I really need someone to tell me why my new digital tv box remote has 58 buttons on it! I’m pretty sure that the lunar landing craft that Neil Armstrong used had fewer controls, and I’m certainly old enough to remember that. This thing is truly obscene and probably can do more things to my audio/video equipment than I could even imagine in my little brain. For me, anything after on/off, channel up/down and volume up/down is truly a waste. Maybe I’m just pining for the days when we only had two channels and you had to walk over to the tv set and physically turn the knob. Boy, those were great times – no couch potatoes back then!
